Review: Adidas Team GB London 2012 Olympics jacket

Tuesday is reviewsday!

I didn't buy any Team GB Olympics kit during the London 2012 games and regretted it once I saw the headlines that it had all sold out!  I tried the official shops in and around central London with no joy, but all was not lost as some of the official high street retail outlets still had some bits of Adidas Team GB clothing remaining and there was obviously a good selection on Ebay - reduced prices at the official retailers or vastly inflated prices in online auction!

I managed to get myself an Adidas Team GB windcheater jacket from JD Sports - reduced to £20.  The only option was Large, but when it arrived it was bigger than I was expecting.  I returned it when I was able to find a Medium size on Ebay for a good price...

The Team GB jacket is great. Flag design and waterproof on the front, with a high zip that can zip the coat up to the bottom of your nose! (This means the hood doesn't fall off when you are running.)  It has a Team GB crest badge on the chest and adidas logo and stripes on the arms.

There are also drawstrings on the waist and red mesh lining.  On the back the Adidas Team GB windcheater jacket has a Union Jack flag sewn to the hood and the words 'Great Britain' printed in the centre of the back.

The Adidas Team GB Olympics jacket looks great, keeps you dry, but doesn't make you overheat.  A quality coat that I'm very pleased with!
