Run To The Beat 2013 London half marathon (and photos from Run To The Beat 2012)

The Nike Run To The Beat London Half Marathon website has yet to be updated from last year and the date for the 2013 race has not yet been announced, however there was an interesting post on the Run To The Beat Facebook page earlier this week:

Since then the Run To The Beat Facebook and Twitter accounts have been encouraging people to pre-register interest here which will give priority sign up when the date is announced.

Doesn't seem to be a secret though.  Nike Run To The Beat 2012 was at the end of October, Run To The Beat 2013 half marathon looks like it will be earlier and run on Sunday 8th September 2013 (charities have been advertising the event as being on this date for a while now...)

I ran the London Run To The Beat half marathon in 2012 and improved on my previous best times.  It wasn't cheap and the course had some hills, but it was a big event and a nice run that took in different scenery (from the O2 to retail parks to historic buildings and Greenwich park too.)

I enjoyed it last year and am seriously considering applying again - are you?
